When did the 6th trumpet begin to sound?


12 SC 2 p. 4, 8 will tell you that it hasn't sounded yet (at least not before 1946 AD), while The Seven Trumpets chart and Tract 5 p. 31, 78, 80 & 111, will tell you that it started sounding before 538 AD. Which is it? Which is the Truth?


Does the sealing of the 144,000 belong to the time of the 6th trumpet?

 

12 SC 2  p. 12 will tell you that it belongs to the time of the 5th trumpet and not the 6th, while 1 SR p. 28 will tell you that it belongs to the time of the 6th trumpet. Which is it? Which is the Truth?

Answer: As we dare not follow in such a path, we must therefore, as teachers of The Shepherd's Rod (the official publications of the Davidian Seventh-day Association [Those publications published while the prophet was alive]), teach only in the light of the Rod those passages which in one way or another need to be interpreted. Thus only will all Present-truth believers ever become of the same mind, seeing eye to eye and speaking the same things (1 Cor. 1:10; 1 Pet. 3:8; Isa. 52:8). 5 Answerer p.55 [brackets added]


Conclusion: Anything published after the prophet's death, claiming to come from the prophet, is immediately suspect and should not be readily embraced. All who support such material must prove its worth by the official publications and if such material is found wanting it should be discarded. Only then can we begin to remove confusion from the camp and start to see eye to eye. Therefore, by the official publications, the 6th trumpet began to sound before 538 AD and the sealing of the 144,000 belongs to the time of the 6th trumpet.

   The only reason one would say that the 6th trumpet is yet to sound is if you were to push a theory that the 42 months is still yet future. Where did such a theory originate? The leadership of the General Association of Davidian Seventh-day Adventists (by the small Codes - 10 SC 7 -- 13 SC 11, 12), who came into power after the death of brother Houteff. The unclean thing must come out of the camp. Pray that God raises up a man to lead Israel in and out once again! Numbers 27:16, 17
